Our meetings generally open with updates on key initiatives and accomplishments. Then we discuss event updates and volunteer needs. After the intro we break out into 2 groups.
The first group is a support group for those in the thrust of addiction or their families.
The second group is for the members or volunteers who are actively working on initiatives to make a difference. Some of these initiative include: event planning, 5K planning, social media sharing, Young People in Recovery event planning, etc.

atTAcK 5K Run
The atTAcK addiction Annual E-Racing the Stigma 5K is so much more than just a race; it’s a movement. Comprised primarily of participants who have been personally impacted by the disease of addiction by either overcoming an addiction, having lost a loved one to addiction, and/or currently living with an addicted loved one, it has been described as a spiritual experience. The crisp March air is no match for the warm feelings of love, camaraderie, and acceptance the participants experience as the course winds them through picturesque Old New Castle and through beautiful Battery Park along the Delaware River.
Proceeds from the event benefit individuals and families impacted by addiction via atTAck addiction’s programs and projects.
